HAPPENING THIS WEEK

THURSDAY 10/12 - GENTLE MAT YOGA (10-11 AM)

Mat yoga offers a multitude of benefits, including promoting flexibility, strength, and relaxation. It also enhances mindfulness, reduces stress, and aids in overall well-being, making it a valuable practice for physical and mental health. Join Dana Theile for Gentle Mat Yoga this Thursday at 10 AM.

SUNDAY 10/15 - SERVICE (10 AM)

This Sunday we will enjoy music by Crowe Capps followed by April Conner's message: "On Your Marks, Get Set, Change!?"

TUESDAY 10/17 - WRITERS GROUP (5-6:30 PM)

Looking for a place where you can share ideas, receive constructive feedback, and gain inspiration for your writing? The group meets every Tuesday from 5-6:30 PM in RoseMary's Chapel.

REIKI

Universal Life Energy

WEDNESDAY, 10/18 (4-6 PM)

Reiki is a gentle, yet powerful, energy healing technique.

By channeling universal life force energy through the practitioner's hands, Reiki balances and harmonizes the recipient's energy system, promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It helps release blockages, reduce stress, and accelerate the body's natural healing processes.

Are you interested in learning more and experiencing the hands-on healing art of Reiki?

Experienced Reiki practitioners offer complimentary mini sessions every 3rd Wednesday from 4-6 PM at Wayfarers Chapel. All are welcome. No appointment needed.

-- DRUM CIRCLE --

Join us for the magic of the

 DRUM CIRCLE

at Wayfarers Chapel

SUNDAY, October 29

6 - 8 PM

People from diverse backgrounds share rhythmic beats and communal spirit and celebrate the beautiful Full Moon. No experience is necessary to enjoy the power, creativity, and meditation of rhythm-making. Bring a drum, a smile, and a friend, if you like. No drum? No problem! We will have extra instruments to borrow.

THE LEAVES ARE FALLING

The day's are turning cooler and the leaves are starting to fall. It is time once again to rev up those leaf blowers!

With all our wonderful trees, it takes a team to keep the decks and walks clear in the coming weeks. If you are interested in helping with this effort, please contact Joyce Oliver at (828) 200-9160 to coordinate dates.

LAST WEEK

SUNDAY SERVICE (10/8 )

Following music by Katharine Brown and Anne Hartupee, we explored tools in our "well-being toolboxes that support Wayfarers Chapel's values of Inclusion, Love, Gratitude, Service, and Health. Thanks to Rabun Gap students Zuri Renken, Mmesoma Onwusika, and Clara Pedall for facilitating this discussion.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
