SOFIA TALVIK - CONCERT

Sunday, June 2nd  ( 2-4 PM )

Swedish recording artist Sofia Talvik brings haunting vocals, keen songwriting, and original "roots music" akin to Joni Mitchel, Allison Krauss, and Linda Ronstadt. So, mark your calendars and tell your friends and we'll see you on June 2nd on the deck. You can get more info about Sofia and her music at sofiatalvik.com.


As with all of our Summer Concerts on the Deck, the concert is free and generous donations to support the musician are encouraged.

The Wayfarers Writers Group meets from 5-6:30 PM every Tuesday. The group is open to writers of all ages, experience levels, and genres and is a great opportunity to challenge yourself to a new level.

Chris Casses will start us off with music. Then, Marie Dunkle explores Inspiration: What is it? WHY it is important ? How do we prepare ourselves to be inspired? How can we be an inspiriation? -- Lots of great questions to keep us keep us engaged ... and, well, ... inspired 🙂


POTLUCK

(Immediately Following Service)

This is the perfect time to laugh, chat, meet new folks, catch up with others - all over great eats on the deck. So bring your favorite sharable dish. Please add a note with the dish name and basic ingredients so folks can make healthy choices. And as always, if you are in a rush and didn't have time to make a dish - or you somehow left it on the kitchen counter - no worries, please stay and enjoy being together. There is always plenty of good food to share.

This one is going to be fun, so grab your chair and your sense of adventure and we will see you on the deck at 2!

LAST WEEK

Last Thursday we gathered to drum ourselves into laughter and connection.

Then, on Sunday, we enjoyed the music of Chris Casses and Sam Renken's "Exploration of Poetry."?" Both music and talk are now available online.
