| | | | SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Ron Lindahn, minister, artist, husband, friend, and much more, died at peace in his home on May 14th with his wife Helene by his side. He was a lifelong disciple of Parmahansa Yogananda and left his home in California many years ago to continue his studies with Rev. Roy Eugene Davis at the Center for Spiritual Awareness (CSA) in Lakemont, GA. He was ordained as an Interfaith Minister before meeting Wayfares Unity founder Rose-Mary Hatfield in 1986. Rose-Mary recognized Ron as a kindred spirit and asked if he might be interested in being part of a "New Thought" ministry in Dillard. Ron accepted her invitation and served by her side as Co-Minister for many years. After Rose-Mary's passing, Ron continued as minister - ultimately serving Wayfarers Unity Chapel for 30 years before leaving to serve full-time at CSA in 2016.
He served with love, humor, wisdom, and patience, touching countless lives here and abroad. There are very few parts of our wonderful chapel and grounds that have not known his touch.
He will be deeply missed.
Details on a candle-light service in his honor will be announced shortly. | | | THIS SUNDAY - MAY 16th Our musician this week is Chris Casses.

We will also review chapel maintenance issues as well as the possible addition of "A Course In Miracles" discussion group.
We have heard from a few folks on the topics above, but we would love to hear from more of you as we work to provide a safe and spiritually satisfying experience for all Wayfarers. So, If you have questions or opinions on any of the above topics, please contact one of the board members listed below by Thursday 5/20.

You are the person who sees the problem in order to activate the idea necessary to solve the problem. Idaes, not physical bodies, solve problems. Mind and emotion are essentials of life, and you are mind and emotion ... You are intelligence, capable of knowing the right idea at the right time to make the right decision.” -- Raymond Charles Barker, "The Power of Decision" |
