Reminders for All Indoor Gatherings at Wayfarers

Heat is ON but doors are OPEN, so bring a jacket or a blanket to keep yourself comfortable!

Masks are required indoors. Masks and Hand Sanitizer are available by entry doors.

Please keep access to front and back doorways clear.

Single and Double Seating are spaced 3' apart. If you prefer 6' spacing, please contact info@wayfarersunity.org prior to arrival.

Please note, speakers and singers will not be wearing masks during their talks and performances. If you have concerns about potential exposure, please feel free to take one of the seats farther back in the chapel or enjoy the talk recordings online.

LAST SUNDAY

We opened with a meditation of LOVE - filling first ourselves, then the chapel, Rabun and Franklin Counties, and spreading out across the US into Canada and Mexico, across the waters, north and south, until the entire world was surrounded - filled with LOVE.

Joyce Oliver reminded us of the power and gift of lifting our voices together in word and song as she led us in familiar tunes and a powerful reading.

Lisa Ezzard explored "The Road Less Travelled" and how it is that all must seek their own path to spiritual growth and yet all seek (and need) community. Once finding a community of supportive and perhaps like-minded beings, there is a tendency to "stop seeking". Our challenge is to live as our true selves within community - always appreciating the support of community, yet never yielding to rote rituals or set patterns - always being true to ourselves on our spiritual path. Lisa's talk will be online this weekend.

FUTURE EVENTS

REIKI - Wednesday, March 30th at 4 pm

We are delighted to host an afternoon of REIKI at the chapel on Wednesday, March 30th, from 4-6 pm. Multiple Reiki Masters and Practitioners will be on-hand to offer sessions for those who seek peace and healing. Sessions are free. Donations are accepted.

SPRING FLOWERS

The first Spring flowers are pushing their way to the sun and opening to the warming air. Come early, stay late, or make a special trip - but be sure to walk the grounds and enjoy nature's delights in the coming weeks.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

“When you put a log on the fire,

the light and heat you see is, in a literal sense,

the decades of sunshine that tree basked in over its lifetime.”

― Peter Brannen
