Wayfarers Newsletter

March 24-30, 2025

THIS WEEK

SUNDAY SERVICE (3/30 @ 10 AM)

We look forward to hearing musicians from the Rabun Gap Nacoochee School. Our message will be "Who's There?". Rev. Anne Hartupee shares how to get your human self out of the way so you can anchor in your spiritual self.

MEDITATION GROUP - Mondays @ 5 PM

Experienced meditation leaders guide us weekly, introducing forms and approaches to support, build, and deepen meditation practice. Sessions are held in the peaceful setting of our Rosemary's Chapel building, are open to the public, and no experience is necessary.

WRITERS GROUP - Tuesdays from 5-6:30 PM

The Wayfarers Writers Group resumes this Tuesday, January 7th! This is a great opportunity to hone your writing skills, get ideas from the works of others, and hear supportive feedback on your own work. Everyone is welcome. The group meets in Rosemary's Chapel.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS

Roberto Obregon, a master guitarist, singer, and composer, will perform for Wayfarers Chapel’s first Deck Concert of the 2025 season on Sunday, April 27, from 2-4 pm. Obregon uniquely blends classic Latin music, pop, and American Blues. From his silky and soulful Blues tomes to a textured Bolero and raspy wails of Flamenco, Obregon gives it up in a big way.  Be sure to add April 27 to your calendar for this unique concert.

LAST WEEK

Crowe Capps entranced everyone with his soulful guitar music. Maggie Renken shared the message "The Space Between Summits - Finding Peace in the Pause."

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

Spiritual freedom is not about escaping from the world, but about finding inner peace and harmony within it.
