JUNE 7-13, 2021

LAST SUNDAY AT THE CHAPEL

Music was provided by Tom Tyre, Katharine Brown, Chris Casses, and Andy LaTorre.

Tom Tyre's humorous, informative, and thought providing message "In Search of the Soul" should be available online by Wednesday at Sunday Talks.

Tom's talk was followed by our First Sunday PotLuck Dinner. Good food and good friends enjoying the wonderful weather on the deck. What better way to spend the afternoon!

THIS SUNDAY - JUNE 13

Our music this week is the beautiful guitar music of Crowe Capps.

Rev. Kathleen Rehling will speak on "How to Awaken and Live as the Devine Being We Really Are".

When arriving at the Sunday Service, please use the hand sanitizer located at the front door and take a mask if you would like one for the service. Masks are optional and seat spacing is 3 feet, but we are happy to accommodate 6 feet spacing as requested. The chairs are set up as singles and doubles with one set of 4 in the back. To ensure seating for all, we ask that parties of one choose an available single seat unless they are all taken.

If you prefer a little extra space between you and your fellow Wayfarers, please

Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you Sunday - no RSVP required.

DEATH CAFE - SUNDAY JUNE 13, 2-4 PM
Death Cafe is a global movement started in the UK whose only objective is:  "To increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their finite lives."

Join Jan Brewer, M.A., CMT, for a group-directed conversation in the welcoming space of Wayfarers Chapel about death and dying / life and living.  Come talk about all things death-related with others wanting to join the discussion. Share your fears, tears, laughter, curiosity, creativity, stories, or just lend an open ear in this safe, relaxed, and supportive setting.

For further information, please contact Jan at (510) 684-5555 or visit www.deathcafe.com

CONCERT on the DECK - SUNDAY 6/27 @ 2PM

Bring your favorite folding chair and join us on the deck for a little toe-tapping and hand-clapping as our Summer Concert Series kicks off with Lisa and Filmer Kilby, aka "High Lonesome". Their "Appalachian with a Twist" music is rich in great guitars, beautiful vocals, smooth harmonies, and Filmer's ever-ready harmonicas.

There is no social distancing required on the deck and masks are optional.

While the concert is free, a $5 donation is suggested. All donations go directly to the musicians.
