LAST WEEK

Last Sunday was a busy one with Service, Potluck, and an afternoon Concert. In the service we were treated to the music of Crowe Capps and Marie' Dunkle's message on Inspiration. Both music and talk will be available online shortly.

In the afternoon, our summer concert series continued with international recording artist Sofia Talvik. With her trusty guitar, a stomp box under her feet for rhythm accompaniment, her techie husband running sound, and her AMAZING voice, Sofia was a one-woman-band.

Sofia's talents extend beyond music and several attendees walked away with hand-painted hats as well as CDs. All of this delivered with humor and heart. Her US tours probably won't bring her back this way for another few years, but

Turns out that Sofia's talents extend beyond music ... and several attendees walked away with hand-painted hats as well as CDs

Our next concert is Blue Jazz at 2 PM on July 7th!

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

A perfect summer day

is when

the sun is shining,

the breeze is blowing,

the birds are singing,

and the lawnmower is broken.
