JUNE 21-27, 2021

LAST SUNDAY (6/20) AT THE CHAPEL

We were delighted to once again share the beautiful piano music and gentle, smiling heart of Norman Olsen.

With examples from the "father figures" in her own life, Ruth Henry shared personal, heartfelt, and sometimes humorous examples of how the "Father figures" in our life are always teaching us - both by what they DO and what they Do NOT Do.

Ruth's talk and Norman's music are available online at Sunday Talks.

THIS SUNDAY - JUNE 27th

Our dreams & visions for this year have begun to sprout bright green leaves of growth. Time to discuss how we can nurture our current desires while being sure to leave plenty of room for God/Source to expand what we have begun. Kim May will guide us into this internal discussion in her talk "The Summer Solstice -- Time to go BIG or Stay Home".

Marie Dunkle will provide our music for the day.

When arriving at the Sunday Service, please use the hand sanitizer located at the front door and take a mask if you would like one for the service. Masks are optional and seat spacing is 3 feet, but we are happy to accommodate 6 feet spacing as requested. The chairs are set up as singles and doubles with one set of 4 in the back. To ensure seating for all, we ask that parties of one choose an available single seat unless they are all taken.

If you prefer a little extra space between you and your fellow Wayfarers, please

Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you Sunday - no RSVP required.

CONCERT on the DECK - SUNDAY 6/27 @ 2PM

It's Time! Mark those calendars and Tell your Friends and Family! Post it on your FaceBook page! - No kidding --- Let the Community know!!

Grab your folding chairs and get ready for some fun and fellowship on the deck as High Lonesome (aka, Lisa and Filmer Kilby) returns with their "Appalacian with a twist" music to launch our summer concert series.

Masks are optional and no social distancing is required on the deck. We do ask that when you feel the urge to DANCE that you move inside the chapel to ensure that everyone can enjoy a safe comfortable space. Please note, if your mind and heart say you'd love to attend, but you need a little more space to feel safe, we are reserving a space for you. You won't have a direct view but you can still enjoy the wonderful sound and dance to your heart's content.

While the concert is free, if you feel the call, a $5 donation is suggested to help support our talented musicians. All donations go directly to the musicians.

See you Sunday!

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

Rivers do not drink their own water; trees do not eat their own fruit; the sun does not shine on itself and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We are all born to help each other. No matter how difficult it is ... Life is good when you are happy; but much better when others are happy because of you.

— Pope Francis

Wayfarers Unity Chapel is entirely supported by free-will offerings. We are richly blessed by the people in our fellowship who give, and we are grateful for your gifts.
