REIKI

Wednesday, June 19th  ( 4-6 PM )

Join experienced Reiki practitioners in the chapel next Wednesday from 4-6 PM for mini sessions to help your system relax, repair, and invigorate  whatever you need. Each session is typically 15-20 minutes. Sessions are free and open to everyone. Donations to support the chapel are accepted in the baskets near the door.

DRUM CIRCLE

Saturday, June 22nd  (6-8 PM )

Join the fun in our next Full Moon Drum Circle this Saturday, May 22nd from 6-8pm at the chapel. This is a chance to get in the groove and let yourself be FREE!

If the weather is good we will be out on the deck; if not, we will be inside the main chapel. Either way, it's a whole lot of fun!

If you have a drum, bring it. If not, no worries. We have plenty of drums and percussion instruments to share and keep things interesting.

THIS WEEK

SUNDAY SERVICE - June 16th (10 AM)

Marie Dunkle provides our music this week and it is Discussion Sunday. Jen Utley will facilitate the topic of 'Patriotism'. Come ready to share your thoughts about this American core value.

WRITERS GROUP - Tuesday, June 18th ( 5-6:30 PM )

The Wayfarers Writers Group meets from 5-6:30 PM every Tuesday. The group is open to writers of all ages, experience levels, and genres and is a great opportunity to challenge yourself to a new level.

LAST WEEK

In the service last Sunday we enjoyed the music of Greg Presmanes and Lisa Ezzard's message on 'Ceremony'. Lisa brought her big drum and invited children to create some rhythm. The talk will be available online shortly.

SUMMER CONCERTS ON THE DECK

Our next concert on the deck is

Blue Jazz

at 2 PM on July 7th!

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

True patriotism springs from a belief in the dignity of the individual, freedom and equality not only for Americans but for all people on earth, universal brotherhood and good will, and a constant and earnest striving toward the principles and ideals on which this country was founded.

— Eleanor Roosevelt
