LAST SUNDAY (7/4) AT THE CHAPEL

"Thanks" to the Opelske team who gathered Saturday to spruce up the grounds and deck in preparation for our service and potluck. If you are interested in being part of the Opelske team, please contact Joyce Oliver or Sandy Thomas (their contact info is in the Board Section below.)


It was a full house as we welcomed many new friends to the Wayfarers family.

Chris Casses provided our music along with assistance from Marie Dunkle on violin and a beautiful vocal from Katherine Brown.

Rev. Randy Doster led us in a truly peaceful meditation and Rev. Mark Stein invited us to "Declare Your Inner-Dependence".

Mark's talk and Randy's meditation will be available online soon at Sunday Talks.

The service was followed by good food and fellowship during our "First Sunday Potluck". And while the dinner was being organized a few of our new friends walked the labrynth.

Lisa and Filmer Kilby return with their wonderful Appalachian gospel-style music and Joyce Oliver speaks on "Just Mercy".

When arriving at the Sunday Service, please use the hand sanitizer located at the front door and take a mask if you would like one for the service. Masks are optional and seat spacing is 3 feet, but we are happy to accommodate 6 feet spacing as requested. The chairs are set up as singles and doubles with one set of 4 in the back. To ensure seating for all, we ask that parties of one choose an available single seat unless they are all taken.

WORKSHOP OPPORTUNITY

One of our beloved speakers, Rev. Dr. Katherine Greysen - a Science of Mind minister & certified firewalk instructor - is offering a six-hour skill-building workshop to help you transform your fear and create the life you deserve. The workshop is designed to break down barriers in communication, identify blocks to receiving, overcome fears, and create practices in trusting your intuition.


The workshop will be held 9 AM - 4 PM Saturday, August 4th, at the Creative Thought Center in Waynesville, NC.
