LAST SUNDAY AT THE CHAPEL

After Bach and Rachmaninoff piano pieces by Andy LaTorre, Ruth Henry chanted with her qilaut, and Tom Tyre led us in meditation before his heartfelt and open consideration of how anger manifests in our lives - often because of the stories we tell ourselves to try to explain that for which we have no answers - and how our anger ultimately hurts us - robbing us of our energy, our peace, our health, and potentially even our lives.

If you missed it, or just want to listen again, Tom's talk will be on our website in a day or two.

RSVP SYSTEM UPDATES

The RSVP system continues to be in effect and is being handled by Sandy Thomas and Ruth Henry.

To ensure that your seats are confirmed, please use the RSVP link in the newsletter. If you do not receive the newsletter or accidentally delete it, you can always find the link on the wayfarersunity.org website on the newsletter page. >> Please do not email, text, or call Sandy Thomas or Ruth Henry directly to make your initial reservation.

If you have not received a response within 36 hours, please text Ruth at (901) 218-4234.

One last piece, it is not absolutely required, but it sure is helpful if RSVPs are received by Noon Saturday.

BUT ... If your plans change and Spirit moves you to come at the last minute, feel free to jump in the car and head to the chapel. If we have a seat available, it is yours! If not, you can always enjoy a meditative walk in the labyrinth and the scenery on the way home.

Just so you know ... Sandy and Ruth will both be out of town on Jan 31st, so please see David Stearns or Barbara Beckham if you have a question about seating this Sunday when you arrive.

THIS SUNDAY - JANUARY 31st

Rev. Mark Stein and Rev. Randy Doster will be with us. Mark's talk, "Forgive Them," will address finding peace with the angry mobs in our lives and in our minds. Randy will lead us in meditation and Marie Dunkle will provide music.

Remember, fans are ON and doors are OPEN, so dress accordingly. (Maybe even bring a warm blanket in case you are near one of the doors.)

Please enter thru the front door and exit thru deck doors and leave chairs exactly where they are. If you were confirmed for a double and don't see one, please check with David Stearns or Barbara Beckham.

Please continue to observe 6' spacing and the wearing of face masks. Hand sanitizer and masks are available at the front door.
