SUNDAY SERVICE (1/19 @ 10 AM)

This Sunday, we will enjoy the music of Ruth Henry before moving into Lisa Ezzard's message "Telepathy Blowing Your Mind."

Refreshments and visitation immediately following service.

MEDITATION GROUP - Mondays @ 5 PM

Experienced meditation leaders guide us weekly, introducing forms and approaches to support, build, and deepen meditation practice. Sessions are held in the peaceful setting of our Rosemary's Chapel building, are open to the public, and no experience is necessary.

WRITERS GROUP - Tuesdays from 5-6:30 PM

The Wayfarers Writers Group resumes this Tuesday, January 7th! This is a great opportunity to hone your writing skills, get ideas from the works of others, and hear supportive feedback on your own work. Everyone is welcome. Group meets in RoseMary's Chapel.

DRUMMING CIRCLE - DAY CORRECTION

Whoops! I'm guessing that marking your calendar for the next drum circle as suggested last week was a bit tricky since the newsletter had the right date but wrong day!

The next Drum Circle is Wednesday, February 12 from 6-8 PM in the main chapel.

FOOD AT CHAPEL

While we love our natural surroundings, we are not fond of inviting mice into the chapel. So, please do not leave any food at the chapel overnight.

CPR CLASS

The Rabun County Board of Health is sponsoring a Hands only CPR and AED Class on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, from 5-7 pm in the lower level of Rabun County Health Department at 184 S Main Street in Clayton. The class will be led by Trampes Stancil, CAPT Rabun County EMS. And as a bonus for learning these valueable skills, participants will also get to enjoy BBQ!

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE

This is the time of year when the land AND the Opelske team take a break - resting and preparing for the spring days to come. That said, it is also a time when branches small and large tend to fall from the trees. That said, if you happen to be in the area, clearing branches and twigs from the grounds is a gentle, moving nature mediation.

LAST WEEK

Last Sunday we enjoyed the upbeat, sing-a-long songs by Katharine Brown and John Howarth.

Rev. Dr. Kate Greysen's message, Spirituality in Balance, took a look at what happens when we are out of step with the Divine.
