WHOLEHEARTED LIVING

STUDY GROUP

Begin 2024 by diving into "Wholehearted Living"

In her book, The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You’re Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are, Brene Brown, PhD. shares what she’s learned from a decade of research on the power of Wholehearted Living. Dr. Brown notes that Wholeheartedness is a way of life that requires practice and intention. It is also countercultural, undermines many pervasive cultural messages, and can be challenging. However, Brown emphasizes that the rewards of Wholehearted Living are far greater than the challenges and invites readers to join the Wholehearted revolution.

Rev. Anne Hartupee and Rev. Becky Whitehead will co-facilitate this new six-week book discussion series based on Brown's book starting on Wednesday, January 10th, at 6:45 pm in the chapel.

This group will meet on Thursdays from 6:45-8 PM at Wayfarers Chapel, 184 Wayfarer Lane, in Dillard, GA on the following dates: January 10, 17, 24 & 31 and February 7 & 14.

To join the group, please register, purchase your book, check out the class materials, and join us at the chapel.

You may register for the class at https://heartcenteredliving.org or by emailing Rev. Anne at RevAnne@heartcenteredliving.org. After registering, you will receive class materials for review before the first session.

Books are available online at Amazon at https://amzn.to/48mcKry  Please be sure to buy the 10th-anniversary Edition of the book.

LAST WEEK

Guided by Rev. Becky Whitehead, we came together to close out 2023 by releasing those ideas, life experiences, and perspectives that no longer supported us, and then we envisioned and set our intentions for 2024. The service included music by Crowe Capps and Indy Renken, meditation with music by Anne Hartupee, and a burning bowl ceremony.
