LAST WEEK

We enjoyed Sweet Charity's songs of friendship and Lisa Ezzard's message about Animism. In case you missed it, click here to view Lisa's message.

Just a reminder, since we don't typically post our Discussion Sundays, you can use the links in this newsletter to view Ruth Henry's MUSIC and the Four Agreements DISCUSSION from January 28th. The links are good through 2/12.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

Two thoughts to inspire this week's journey ...

Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.

Muhammad Ali

*************

"Finding yourself" is not really how it works. You aren’t a ten-dollar bill in last winter’s coat pocket. You are also not lost. Your true self is right there, buried under cultural conditioning, other people’s opinions, and inaccurate conclusions you drew as a kid that became your beliefs about who you are. "Finding yourself" is actually returning to yourself. An unlearning, an excavation, a remembering who you were before the world got its hands on you.
