MORE THIS WEEK

SUNDAY SERVICE (2/23 @ 10 AM)

Crowe Capps will be our musician this Sunday, and Kim May will be our speaker. Her message title is "We Have Arrived!" Our commitment, persistence, and dedication have all paid off. The Light has grown strong enough, and the scales have at last tipped. Feel the victory and joy of knowing that darkness, separation, and fear can no longer fool us into being their puppets.

MEDITATION GROUP - Mondays @ 5 PM

Experienced meditation leaders guide us weekly, introducing forms and approaches to support, build, and deepen meditation practice. Sessions are held in the peaceful setting of our Rosemary's Chapel building, are open to the public, and no experience is necessary.

WRITERS GROUP - Tuesdays from 5-6:30 PM

The Wayfarers Writers Group resumes this Tuesday, January 7th! This is a great opportunity to hone your writing skills, get ideas from the works of others, and hear supportive feedback on your own work. Everyone is welcome. Group meets in Rosemary's Chapel.

KIM MAY WORKSHOP

Kim May will offer a workshop on February 23rd after the Sunday service. The workshop will be from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. (Plan to bring a lunch. Beverages will be provided.) The suggested Love Offering is $50 but no one will be turned away. The topic will be Laws to Thrive By! This workshop will provide a clear understanding of who you are, tools to remove limiting beliefs, and the confidence personal empowerment brings!

Please RSVP Kim at kimatfc@gmail.com or call Kim at 828-734-0305 if you plan to attend.

POETRY WORKSHOP by SAM RENKEN

~ NEW DATE ~

Sam Renken is facilitating a poetry workshop at the Hambidge Center in Rabun Gap on Saturday, March 22nd, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Sam is the Founder of our Writer's Group, which meets on Tuesday evenings. He has read his poetry at the chapel for Sunday services and at the quarterly Writer's Group Reading Room.

LAST WEEK

This past Sunday we enjoyed the the music of Anne Hartupee. It was Discussion Sunday. Marie Dunkle facilitated a conversation on The Three Death Contemplations - Questions for an Examined Life from the Buddhist philosophy. Our focus was on what we most care about and how to actually live with that in mind.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, or worn. It is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace & gratitude.
