MORE THIS WEEK

SUNDAY SERVICE (2/9 @ 10 AM)

Anne Hartupee is our musician this Sunday, and Marie Dunkle will facilitate our discussion, The Three Death Contemplations - Questions for an Examined Life, which is aimed at focusing on what we most care about and how to actually live with that in mind.

MEDITATION GROUP - Mondays @ 5 PM

Experienced meditation leaders guide us weekly, introducing forms and approaches to support, build, and deepen meditation practice. Sessions are held in the peaceful setting of our Rosemary's Chapel building, are open to the public, and no experience is necessary.

WRITERS GROUP - Tuesdays from 5-6:30 PM

The Wayfarers Writers Group resumes this Tuesday, January 7th! This is a great opportunity to hone your writing skills, get ideas from the works of others, and hear supportive feedback on your own work. Everyone is welcome. Group meets in Rosemary's Chapel.

POETRY WORKSHOP by SAM RENKEN

Sam Renken is facilitating a poetry workshop at the Hambidge Center in Rabun Gap on Saturday, February 22nd, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Sam is the Founder of our Writer's Group that meets on Tuesday evenings. He has read his poetry at the chapel for Sunday services and at the quarterly Writer's Group Reading Room.

KIM MAY WORKSHOP

Kim May will offer a workshop on February 23rd after the Sunday service. The workshop will be from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. (Plan to bring a lunch. Beverages will be provided.) The suggested Love Offering is $50 but no one will be turned away. The topic will be Laws to Thrive By! This workshop will provide a clear understanding of who you are, tools to remove limiting beliefs, and the confidence personal empowerment brings!

If you plan to attend, RSVP Kim at kimatfc@gmail.com or call Kim at 828-734-0305.

LAST WEEK

This past Sunday we enjoyed the the amazing music of Jeff Wilson and Marie Dunkle and welcomed a "new to us" speaker, Martha Wooding-Young.

Martha's message, "Playing in the Unified Field: Experience Awareness Beyond the Ordinary Mind" included an experiential section.

Martha's message, Jeff and Marie's music, and Dee's message from last week are now available online.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

Perhaps we only leave
So we may once again arrive,
To get a bird's eye view
Of what it means to be alive.
For there is beauty in returning,
Oh how wonderful, how strange,
To see that everything is different
But know it's only you who's changed.
