What? Again!!!?

Tonight, packing up gear after the great Celtic Christmas Celebration at Parkers Ranch, I suddenly realized that - once again - I WROTE the newsletter, but did not send it.

I considered just letting it go, but I KNOW some of you will actually read this tonight (Saturday night) ... so here 'ya go!

And to anyone for whom not having this sooner changed your plans for the day, my apologies. -- Ruth

CALENDAR AT A GLANCE

12/11 - SUNDAY SERVICE - 10 AM

Margie Swint is our guest musician. David Stearns will speak to the origin of Christmas and other assorted Christmas stories.


12/11 - DEATH CAFE - 2 PM

Death Cafe is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives, or themes - and no intent to lead participants to any particular conclusion, product, or course of action.


Come and enjoy tea and cake (a nod to Death Cafe's British origins) and talk openly and confidentially about all things death related.

12/16 - Yoga and Live Music - 6-7:30 PM @ Clayton Yoga

Come and celebrate the winter solstice season with yoga and live music. Move to the warm, living, rich tones of the cello as we move through a flow of tucking into the darkness and pulling into the light. Then pause in meditation for an exquisite singing bowl sound bath and let the purity of these vibrations release any emotional and/or mental tensions you might be holding on to as the New Year approaches and we begin afresh. This session at Clayton Yoga is led by Lisa Ezzard with music by Marie Dunkle. To enroll in the class, simply click HERE and scroll down to "Yoga Flow and Live Music & Sound Bowls with Marie."


12/18 - CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION - 10 AM

December 18th at 10 AM we will present a program of music and verse for the Holidays.


12/21 - REIKI - 4 PM

The next Reiki session is offered Wednesday, 12/21, from 4-6 PM at the chapel. If you or a friend is seeking greater peace or better health, please join us Wednesday for this gentle, healing opportunity.


12/25 - CHRISTMAS DAY - 10 AM

Christmas Day at the Chapel will be an opportunity for quiet reflection and meditation from 10-11 AM. A Chapel leader will be on-site to open and close the building.

ANIMALS AT WAYFARERS

Here at Wayfarers, we love our fur family -- so much so that you may find 1-8 dogs in the chapel at any given time.


Well socialized, well behaved animals are always welcome.

Please note ... for the comfort of all Wayfarers, we DO ask that all animals be kept on a leash.

LAST  WEEK

Marie Dunkle dedicated songs to special folks who help keep Wayfarers bright and beautiful.

Rev. Mark Stein provided a metaphysical review of Hanukkah and it's inner meaning in his talk "Trust in the Light," and Rev. Dr. Randy Doster led our meditation.

 

FUND DRIVE for ROSEMARY's CHAPEL

Thank you SOOOOoooo much to everyone who has contributed thus far. We are getting closer ... closer .... only $1100 more needed to reach our goal of $7500 for the renovations to RoseMary's Chapel.
