SUNDAY (8/27) - SERVICE (10 AM) Katharine Brown and Chris Casses provide our music this Sunday. In her talk, "5D Has Arrived - Are You Being A Cooperative Component to Your Evolution?", Kim May reminds us that Spirit/God/Source Energy wants nothing more than our happiness. And this talk is designed to bring our "blind spots," toward a positive, love & joy-filled life, into our clear awareness. SUNDAY (8/27) - BOARD MEETING (11:15 AM) The Board will meet in RoseMary's Chapel this Sunday immediately following service. This is a perfect opportunity to see the Board in action and maybe ask a few questions if you are considering joining the Board. WEDNESDAY (8/30) - FULL MOON DRUM CIRCLE (7-9 PM) It's that time!! Grab your drum and sense of adventure, and join us for a Full Moon Drum Circle on August 30th from 7-9 PM at the chapel. No drum? No worries, we always have a few extra drums and percussion instruments you can use! |

Last week we asked you to start thinking about movies for our monthly movie night at the chapel. Did you do it? Did you come up with some titles? YES? Great! Use the button below to submit your ideas. And if the answer was "no", well, hey, you get another chance. This link will remain open until further notice. So any time an idea comes to you, just click on the link and add your idea. |

A big "Thank You" to those who have already submitted ideas for music we can SING TOGETHER at the chapel. Now it is your turn to add to the list more feel-good music that represents our core values of LOVE, GRATITUDE, INCLUSION, HEALTH, and SERVICE.
There was a little glitch with the button last time, but I promise it works this time!! So go on, push the big blue button, and add your favorite tunes to the list! |

Sharing food is one of the wonderful ways we create and experience community here at Wayfarers. We have had lots of interest in creating a collection of Wayfarers' Recipes and Michelle Quartermaine has volunteered to head up this project. You can write up the recipe in an email, send an electronic file via email, or send a photo of a recipe by email or text -- whatever is easiest for you. Just be sure to include your name and contact info in case Michelle has a question. You can send submissions to Michelle at michelle8487@gmail.com or (864) 608-4514. |

This voluntary "opt-in" directory will include not only name, phone, address, email (if you have one), and birthday -- the basics on how to connect and celebrate one another -- but you can also include skills/knowledge/materials that you are open to sharing in support of other Wayfarers. You will also be given the opportunity to add a picture - and we hope you do - as this makes it much easier for folks since sometimes names and faces seem to live in separate places in our brains!! Several folks have been asking, so just to be clear.... The information in this directory is private and for the use of Wayfarers to connect with and support other Wayfarers. It will NOT be visible on the website. And only those who choose to include information in the directory will have access to the full directory contents. To add you info, just click the link below. |

MEDICAL EQUIPMENT RESOURCES |
If you have medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, walking boots, crutches, bedside toilets, etc. that you are willing to loan (or even give) to other Wayfarers in need, please contact Barbara Beckham at apinklady@att.net. Please include a picture if possible and sizes where appropriate. |
BOARD OF DIRECTORS - ELECTION NOV 7 |
As a lay-led community, Wayfarers relys on the generousity of our members-of-the-heart to step up and serve on the Board of Directors. The Board is the group that tends to daily operations as well as arranges speakers, musicians, and special events. They are the ones who set our direction and ensure we are meeting our core values of Inclusion, Love, Health, Gratitude, and Service. Service on the Board is a two-year term. The Board meets at least quarterly and as is necessary to tend to business. Board members also host services and share the responsibilities for ensuring that things get done. If you would like to volunteer to serve on the Board please contact a current Board member (see Contact Information section of newsletter) OR speak with a former Board member such as Marie Dunkle, Ruth Henry, David Stearns, Mereta Alspaugh, or Anne Kirslis. You may also wish to attend the next Board meeting. Just watch the newsletter for announcement of the next meeting date. |

If your life were a MOVIE, what would the title be? And if you got to re-write the script, THEN what would the title be? |
