This Sunday is also Discussion Sunday. Here at Wayfarers, our core values are "Inclusion, Love, Gratitude, Health, and Service." This week we examine together what it means to be "inclusive."
| Reminders for All Indoor Gatherings at Wayfarers Masks are required indoors. Masks and Hand Sanitizer are available by entry doors. Please keep access to front and back doorways clear. The back deck is a great place to hang out or visit with friends. Single and Double Seating are spaced 3' apart. Please note, speakers and singers will not be wearing masks during their talks and performances. If you have concerns about potential exposure, please feel free to take one of the seats farther back in the chapel or enjoy the talks on-line. |
Wednesday 8/18 - YOGA ON THE DECK - 5:15 PM Grab your mat, block, and blanket (for a little extra cush), and join us on the deck for gentle yoga led by Dana Thiele. Suitable for new and experienced practitioners, this is a great way to clear your mind and limber up your body. Class is offered on a "love offering" basis. Since FRED is dumping a good bit of rain on the area at present, please check the weather in Dillard before heading to the chapel since these outside classes are canceled in the event of rain. For further information, please contact Dana Thiele at (706) 982-1297. | Sunday 8/22 - CICADA RHYTHM - 2 PM Concert On The Deck Grab your friends and some comfy chairs and join in the fun with a great concert featuring Cicada Rhythm this Sunday afternoon at 2 PM on the deck. With everything from upbeat acoustic folk with a Southern swing to powerfully atmospheric indie rock, the return of acoustic duo Cicada Rhythm promises a "feel good" afternoon.
Masks and hand sanitizer are provided at the entry to the deck. Given the current high rate of COVID transmission in our area, masks are optional but recommended on the deck.
Please note, right now the weather looks good for Sunday, but if at the last minute the rain comes calling, the concert will move indoors where masks are required and seating is limited. | 9/11 - ACOUSTIC EIDOLON - 7 PM Have you purchased your ticket yet?
