August 12 - August 18, 2024

READING ROOM

Multiple writers from the Wayfarers Writing Group will be presenting their original works on August 16th from 6:30-8:30 PM in the chapel. Refreshments will be served.

DRUM CIRCLE

The energy for the next drum circle promises to be truly powerful thanks to the Super Moon. So, grab your drum and desire for adventure and join us at the chapel on August 18th from 6-8 PM. You don't need any experience. Extra drums and percussion instruments are available for your use and experimentation.

WEEKLY MEDITATION SESSION

Wanting to learn meditation or deepen your practice? Regular meditation can help bring peace and power, so Wayfarers now offers group sessions each Monday evening from 6-7pm beginning August 19.  Experienced meditation leaders will guide us each week, introducing forms and approaches to support, build, and deepen meditation practice.  Sessions will be held in the peaceful setting of our Rosemary's Chapel building, are open to the public, and no experience is necessary.  It’s complimentary, so try us and enjoy!

BOARD ELECTIONS IN NOVEMBER

CONCERT ON THE DECK

September 8th Concert on the Deck

Loose Shoes Duo

LAST WEEK

We enjoyed music by the Loveland family, and Sam Renken's inspirational poetry. The message will be available online Thursday. Due to copyright restrictions, we cannot make the music available on our website. But you can enjoy the music by the Loveland family at this link: Loveland Family Music. The link will be available for 2 weeks.

Also during the service last week, our young people enjoyed time outdoors exploring the grounds around the chapel with Lisa Ezzard. They brought back with them wonderful items that brought them joy!

On Sunday afternoon, MOUNTAIN MUSE returned for our August Concert on the Deck. They played mostly Beatles music and everyone was feeling groovy!

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
