TRAINING FOR

AED (for when heart stops)

and

First Aid for Bleeding & Choking

The biggest health risks we would typically face at the chapel are bleeding, choking, or someone’s heart stopping. We have a wonderful lifesaving device at the chapel – an AED – that is used to restart the heart, but in order for it to work, you need to know where to find it and how to use it!

This Sunday at 11:20 AM in RoseMary’s Chapel, there will be a brief 25-30 minute training session in which Jen Utley will offer a brief training on use of the AED and basic first aid for bleeding and choking.

Please note, this is not a certification class - It is the basics of dealing with bleeding, choking, and when and how to use the AED.
