California SWRCB recently published a policy handbook for microplastics testing, including provisions for new monitoring requirements. Monitoring orders will be issued to public water systems starting in Fall 2022, requiring monitoring for a period of four years.   Results must be reported to SWRCB in electronic deliverable format files.
