Prepare for new lead and copper requirements

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is imposing stricter requirements on water utilities to manage lead and copper contamination in drinking water supplies. The EPA said that tackling water pollution is a core duty of the agency.

By 2024, the following changes and requirements will apply:

  • Public notice of action level exceedance

  • CCR report changes

  • Customer notification of compliance sample values >15 µg/L within three days

  • Sample plan ready for use

  • And more

Locus recently added new reporting and charting tools to support the US EPA’s Lead and Copper rule. Pair these new reports with Locus' sample planning and CCR reporting tools for a complete water quality management solution and be prepared for the latest EPA requirements.
