Claro Walnut Meadowhawk Limited Release!

The Claro Walnut we set aside for week 2 of this limited run of Meadowhawk body & neck sets is special. Here at the shop we’ve taken to calling it “Rainbow Claro” because of the colorful vertical stripes it exhibits within the flamed figuring. It’s so beautiful, in fact, that we decided the usual single lam wasn’t enough. That’s why every body and neck in this run is double-laminated with some of the most amazing Claro you’re likely to find anywhere!

Each body features highly-figured Claro Walnut lams on both front and back, sandwiching a core of Roasted Swamp Ash. The deeper contours of the Meadowhawk body fall away to reveal the Roasted Swamp Ash in the forearm, tummy cut, and sculpted neck heel. (Yes…a fully-sculpted “AANJ” heel!)

Every neck has figured Claro Walnut headstock lams on both front and back, chosen specifically to match the body it is paired with. The shaft wood, fretboards, and inlay materials were likewise selected to complement the body and accentuate the beauty of this rare wood.
