With just one day now until the Big Aintree Grand National Festival starts I wanted to talk to you about FESTIVAL FEVER.
Do you turn into that manic punter at every festival?
What I mean by that is the need to have a bet on every single race, no matter what, many punters will blindly choose a horse and will it to win because its a festival and it’s what you do!!
Fact is, that is the quick way to the poor house, fair enough playing little couple of pound stakes but I see people throwing £20 and £30 bets on every race and expecting to win overall at the end of the day.
You wouldn’t do this on Tuesday night meeting at Southwell or any other time unless you were perhaps actually attending the meeting.
In reality its a crazy approach, I would imagine even for all the Aintree Specials we see, its a tough ask of these pro tipsters to find winners in every race.
So try not to get festival fever this year and just focus on a few individual Races and selections giving yourself a much greater chance of getting one over the bookies.
