Friday night sees the Dutch host World cup winners France at the De Kuip Stadium in Rotterdam. I think the home side’s chances are pretty fair and so do the bookies. France just need a draw to hit the top spot in the group but the Dutch won’t make it easy for them and will want a win on home soil. The momentum is with Holland here, as they battered Germany 3-0 in their last game, in fact they have score 3, 3-0 wins on the bounce across al competitions and are looking dangerous. They have won 5 of their last games to nil and they could beat France but they need a bit more experience yet.
There is little in the way of value footy bets this weekend , there is some dire stuff thrown up by the UEFA league matches so this, in effect will be my weekend betting. Keomens team have scored at least 2 goals in 6 of their last 7 games but the French are unbeaten in their last 15 games winning 11 and drawing 4. As I mentioned they only need a draw here and that may well be their un doing. The hunger is with the Oranje. That being said looking simply at the value, this experienced French side are 7/5 for the win and that looks a little big considering their firepower. I expect a tight game that may well see lots of goal attempts but not many actually going in the net.
