Glorious Goodwood - Wednesday 29th July 2020
Goodwood 1.10;Waliyak 6/4 betfair/365/paddy/uni/.Second in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot and maybe could of got up that day if racing on same side of track as the winner, sure to improve again.
Goodwood 1.45;The Grand Visir EACH WAY 11/1 hills/betfair/paddy/nation/10/pesa who are all paying on first 5 home.Winner at Royal Ascot last season and returned there for seasonal debut this term where a very decent 2nd in the Queen Alexandria.Has top weight to lump round this distance but will stay on forever when a lot of these will be treading water.
Goodwood 2.15;Glenties EACH WAY 6/1 hills/365/betfair/888/betvic/fred/betway/boyles/genting.One ive personally been following throughout his short career on the track so far and apart from a blip at Newmarket late last month has never run a bad race.We was rewarded last time out at Windsor and he still has more to offer at this trip
Goodwood 2.45;Sardinia Sunset 9/2 most firms.A fine fourth in The Queen Mary which is remarkable if you look at the fact she was stepping up from class 5 to group 2 company, then made no mistake landing a listed fillies at york last time out. This is well within her capabilities.
Goodwood 3.15;Siskin 9/4 hills. In my opinion the bookies have got this one wrong and 5/2 its now trading at will hopefully look like a gift come 3.20 this afternoon.Dont get me wrong though here there is some serious black type horses in this race and we could end up watching the race of the season but after Siskins blistering turn of foot victory in the Irish 2000 i can only see one result.
Goodwood 3.45;Spright 5/2 hills/888.Drops back to 5f here today after making all at York over 6 last time out.Obviously more on her plate here in this company but is a worthy fav.
Goodwood 4.20;Mottrib EACH WAY 10/1 hills/betvic/uni/fred/nation/boyles/genting/10/pesa who are all paying out on first 5 home.Making handicap debut in what looks no easy feat even off a feather weight. The return to 7f will suit and his comback run 3 weeks ago should have him fully tuned for this.
