I have to admit.
I'm a closet modern metal fan.
Not that there's anything wrong with that at all! I mean, Ola Englund is one of my favorite players in the genre, plus he's probably the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet.
But, I don't fit the profile. Middle age... balding... I'm a dad to 5 kids... yet... I'm a closet "djenter". I love the energy.
So I asked myself... "Self: what's one tone missing from your pedalboard that you wish you had for those moments when you pulled out a 7 or 8 string guitar, or even just wanted a more modern take on high gain distortion?" The answer was simple... "Brian: you must create the Ultimate High Gain Distortion Modern Metal Pedal".
You know it's serious because I capitalized all of the words there. :p
