Thanks for making Lights On Afterschool a Success in Virginia!
Here at VPOST, we honored the day by participating in a roundtable discussion in Harrisonburg with a powerhouse of afterschool champions, which of the many included Deputy of Secretary of Education Holly Coy, Jen Rinehart of Afterschool Alliance. The event was featured in an article here. Lastly, in case you missed it, there was a great piece in the Richmond Times-Dispatch from Richmond's afterschool leaders calling on the local community to support Lights on Afterschool and out-of-school programs year-round. |
