This year VPOST is taking our annual conference on the road! Rather than hosting one state-wide event, we are leaning into our goal of strengthening and establishing local OST networks, by hosting five mini-conferences. Our traveling conference, Paving the Way: Connecting Out-of-School Time Locally and Across Virginia, is also intended to be more accessible to OST staff by bringing professional development to the backyards of staff at a more affordable rate!

All topics related to VPOST revised Quality Standards, which are set to be released in concert with the conference are relevant. However, we are giving priority to the following hot topics:

Addressing Challenging Child and Youth Behaviors
Facilitation and Engagement of Hands-On Learning Experiences
Supporting Staff Wellness and Emotional Self-Efficacy
STEM

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO SPEAKING?

In addition to sharing your expertise with the out-of-school time community, speakers will receive free admission to the conference.
