Through the Power of Youth Challenge, young people (ages 13-18) across the U.S. can identify a need in their communities related to COVID-19 and apply for a $250 grant to help them put a remote service project into action. Learn more here!


Arts for Learning Virginia "Take 10!"


“Take 10!” makes the arts virtually accessible to youth and families through live and recorded performances and workshops. Production started March 24th and is on target to provide content through June 12th. Take 10 will be available via 24 Facebook LiveEvents (Facebook.com/Arts4LearningVA) and 75 On-Demand segments (YouTube https://www.youtube.com/user/YoungAudiencesVA and the Arts for Learning Website http://yav.org/Take10 

 

Family and Youth Virtual Leadership Summit: May 16, 2020

From Youth Move VA and NAMI Virginia (National Alliance on Mental Illness), explore educational and peer-led content relevant to youth and families that have children, youth, and young adults with mental health conditions. Scholarships are available to help offset the technological barriers that families may encounter. The Latino Outreach Summit has been created to provide a safe space for discussion and action to create better conditions for the Latino community across Virginia. This one-day event will bring families and professionals together to better understand diversity, culture, special education, and learn more about the needs of our community. Information (en español) and registration here.
