Subject: Support kids and educators in your community on Giving Tuesday!

Tuesday, November 30, 2021, is Giving Tuesday. Support VPOST on this global day of giving!

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of radical generosity to transform communities and the world. When so much attention is given to what divides us, generosity brings people together across races, faiths, and political views.

This year we invite you to help transform our community in Virginia by supporting quality, accessible out-of-school time programming. 2021 has continued to be a challenging year for the out-of-school time community. With the impacts of the pandemic, students and families are in need of support now more than ever. And at the same time, many programs are shuttering their doors due to staffing issues. These are complex and systemic problems that we're facing, but we have a plan. By coordinating a network of partners and programs, advocating for policy and funding changes, and connecting program providers with quality standards and professional development, we have multifaceted approaches to addressing our challenges. But, we can't do this work alone. The success of accessible, quality out-of-school-time programming depends on the generosity of donors whose support allows us to build a better future for Virginia families.

Every gift makes a difference!
As a small organization with a big reach, every penny counts and is appreciated. Here are some examples of how your support helps:

  • A $150 contribution will sponsor registration for the 13th Annual VPOST Conference and build skills for an afterschool specialist.

  • A $100 contribution will provide lodging for a Virginia Youth Ambassador at the Afterschool for All Challenge in Washington, D.C.

  • A $75 contribution will provide a Membership to The Virginia Partnership for Out-of-School Time (VPOST) Collaborative Learning Environment.

  • A $50 contribution will provide transportation for a Virginia Youth Ambassador to the Afterschool for All Challenge in Washington, D.C.

  • A $25 contribution will provide resources for an afterschool specialist.
