Tuesday, December 1, 2020, is Giving Tuesday. Support VPOST on this global day of giving! 2020 has been a challenging year for the out-of-school time community with more young people out of school than ever before and our most vulnerable families being the hardest hit. As a result of the pandemic, and to meet the moment during times of social change, VPOST has worked diligently to provide the necessary support to educators, kids, and families in Virginia. Be that hosting a virtual statewide town hall with the Virginia Department of Education Superintendent, rallying the community for funding during the pandemic, or providing meaningful and engaging professional development for our changing times, VPOST has been a guiding light for Virginia's out-of-school time community. But we can't do it alone! VPOST relies on the generosity of kind and generous supporters. Every gift makes a difference! As a small organization with a big reach, every penny counts and is appreciated. Here are some examples of how your support helps:
A $500 contribution will send hundreds of books to afterschool programs across the Commonwealth. A $150 contribution will sponsor registration for the 12th Annual VPOST Conference and build skills for an afterschool specialist. A $100 contribution will provide lodging for a Virginia Youth Ambassador at the Afterschool for All Challenge in Washington, D.C. A $75 contribution will provide a Membership to The Virginia Partnership for Out-of-School Time (VPOST) Collaborative Learning Environment. A $50 contribution will provide transportation for a Virginia Youth Ambassador to the Afterschool for All Challenge in Washington, D.C. A $25 contribution will provide resources for an afterschool specialist.
