Social-emotional learning (SEL) has been gaining a lot of attention in and out of the classroom recently. Now more than ever, social-emotional competencies in children help them to succeed in the world of today.
VPOST will be hosting two virtual professional learning days on June 2 and June 9, 2020 with presentations by experts in the latest research, pedagogies, and practices for incorporating SEL into out-of-school time programs. These virtual events will replace our previously planned in-person, regional trainings scheduled in June.
