Why STEM Family Engagement?

STEM competencies and skills are important to prepare young people for the future. Caregivers play a critical role in helping youth access STEM learning opportunities. And they help them persist on STEM pathways in the face of challenges. Yet many caregivers feel unqualified or intimidated in supporting their children.

In this Community of Practice, you will:

  • Learn research-backed best practices for STEM family engagement.

  • Engage in a meaningful and lively discussion with fellow OST educators

  • Get resources and;

  • Share experiences and practical ideas for putting it all into action
