Subject: Important follow up to the OST STEM Coalition meeting last week

VPOST Equity in OST STEM

Meeting Recap

  • Updates were made to the Inclusivity Check to include the below additions. You can view the Inclusivity Check, along with all other shared docs in our google folder here.

  • We performed a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) Analysis of "The Dream": "A Virginia where the science and engineering gender and race/ethnicity gap is closed by engaging girls, non-binary youth and youth of color in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning opportunities." We broke into four groups, with each brainstorming ideas around one of the SWOT quadrants. The summary is in our shared drive.
