Deadline to apply is today, Friday, August 14, 2020 About Our Conference This year’s conference theme, “Road Map to Resiliency in Out-of-School Time”, was born from the context of 2020. In the wake of the pandemic, OST educators continue to strive to meet the resulting needs of youth, the community, and themselves, in a fluid and unprecedented environment. While adding to the complexities of this time, we are in a pivotal moment in addressing individual and systemic racism in out-of-school time, education, and our society at large. In such extraordinary times, the need for the out-of-school time community to come together and be guided by leaders in the field is crucial to serving the young people of Virginia. VPOST is looking for those that have expert insights, proven strategies, inspiration, and innovations in the field to meet this challenge! Road Map to Resiliency In Out-of-School Time will be held virtually on October 13-15, 2020. Workshop Strands: Activities that Address the Needs of the Whole Child Culture, Diversity, and Equity Leadership and Staff Wellness Social-Emotional Learning and Trauma-Informed Care Engaging Practices for Virtual Learning Supporting Families and Communities Through Unprecedented Times
