I am contacting you to request the temporary appointment of a new member of the Board of Trustees.
The BoT is composed by the President, and the two Financial Auditors and has the role to supervise the operations of the Board of Directors. More details on roles and composition can be found here: https://www.vph-institute.org/board-of-trustees.html
At the beginning of the year one of the current financial auditors, Prof Alfons Hoekstra from University of Amsterdam, joined the Board of Director of the VPHi and he can no longer operate as BoT member too for conflict of interests.
With this email I request you to appoint Prof Jose Manuel Garcia Aznar (University of Zaragoza) as his substitute until the end of the current mandate (end of 2021).
Silence will be considered agreement by 4th of October.
