This month, we celebrate a pioneer in computational physics, Mary Tsingou. She is most known for having programmed the equations of the Fermi-Pasta-Ulam problem into the MANIAC computer. Its principles and methods are now employed in analysing cardiac rhythms, neuronal activity, and more.
