EDITH: an Ecosystem for Digital Twins in Healthcare in Europe
The VPH Institute has successfully driven the submission process of the EDITH proposal to respond to the Digital Europe call for a CSA on "An ecosystem for digital twins in healthcare" with deadline 22 of February 2022. Regardless of the outcome of this bid, the discussions between the different communities involved in digital twins for health will be continued to exploit the many synergies and accelerate the adoption of in silico technologies in healthcare.

On 2 February, the European Commission presented a new Standardisation Strategy. The goal of the strategy is to strengthen the EU’s competitiveness by setting better standards that can, amongst other things, foster innovation.
- FDA's Draft Guidance: "Credibility of Computational Modeling and Simulation in Medical Device Submissions"
The FDA has issued a Draft Guidance for Industry and Food and Drug Administration Staff entitled “Assessing the Credibility of Computational Modeling and Simulation in Medical Device Submissions" that is open for comments.
