Verify Meeting Status:

• We want to make sure those who use our meeting locator to find a SMART Recovery meeting get accurate information. To that end, our staff will be reaching out to verify that the information listed is correct. This is a huge undertaking with approximately 2,400 meetings in the US and Canada. We are asking for your help in the following ways:

  • Check your listing on our meeting locator.

  • If changes are needed, log into VolunteerHQ and submit a meeting change request form.   

  • If you are facilitating a meeting that is not currently on our list, register the meeting using the face-to-face or local online registration form. All public and private meetings need to be registered with us.  

  • Meetings that are listed as "on hiatus" should be removed if there is no anticipated restart date or plan to convert to a local online meeting. When you are ready to restart the meeting, it can be registered as a new meeting.

Requesting a Certificate of Insurance:

• If you are a facilitator in the United States who is asked to provide a Certificate of Insurance to the location of your meeting, the National Office can help! Simply email information@smartrecovery.org and include the following: 

  • Meeting number  

  • Location name and address 

  • Your name and contact information
