Nurturing Your Volunteer Service Spark - Dealing with Burnout as SMART Recovery Volunteers

As volunteers, you bring empathy and understanding to those on their recovery journey. However, we recognize that burnout can sometimes be a challenge. In our latest VHQ blog post, "Nurturing Your Volunteer Service Spark," we address the importance of self-care and setting boundaries. Drawing from real-life scenarios, we offer practical strategies for renewing your energy and passion.

Join us in celebrating your impactful work while learning how to navigate burnout effectively. Check out the full post on our VolunteerHQ site and keep shining brightly in your role as a SMART Recovery facilitator.

Help Improve SMART!

SMART Recovery International (SRI) is working with a team of researchers who want to understand more about who attends groups, how people feel about attending, the goals they set themselves and the ways that SMART Recovery may or may not be helpful.

Please consider mentioning the survey at group meetings and feel free to participate yourself. To learn more and participate in the survey, click HERE or scan the QR code below.
