Subject: Registration Opens Saturday for New Facilitator Refresher Course

Hello SMART Recovery Volunteer,

The SMART Recovery Training Department has developed a refresher training that will light that spark in you again. Whether you have been facilitating for a long time or took the training some time ago and never quite got a meeting going, this refresher is for you.

Meet other facilitators and hear how they handle difficult situations, discussion on which tools you might use in certain situations and be reminded of some tools you may have put on the back burner.

Please join us on November 5th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET for the Facilitator Refresher Course.

Topics will include:

What is the Global Training Committee?
What are the things that are required for a SMART Recovery Meeting
How to you keep check-in's brief?
Dealing with difficult participants
What tools would you like to review?

The course is FREE to attend. The prerequisites are completion of 201, 203 or 301.
