Thank you for the incredible work you do to bring SMART Recovery meetings to individuals and communities in need. We’re excited to be partnering with The Phoenix to broaden the reach of SMART Recovery meetings through their mobile app, giving their 250,000+ members easy access to SMART meetings. Together, we’re making a larger impact in the recovery space, reaching more people who need support.
The Phoenix Mobile App is a hub of resources, community support, and connection, featuring a schedule of free livestreamed and in-person events, spaces for digital gatherings based on location or shared interests, sobriety trackers, "moments" (real-time snapshots from events across the country), on-demand classes, and direct messaging. App users can build their own recovery pathway within a strong, diverse community.
While The Phoenix hosts a variety of community events, your SMART meetings will stay true to SMART Recovery’s mission and values. Only in-person SMART meetings will be listed on the app, thanks to a geolocator feature that makes your meeting visible to those in your local area.
How to list your SMART meeting on The Phoenix App:
Ensure your meeting is registered with SMART Recovery. For assistance, contact the Meeting and Volunteer Department at volunteerhq@smartrecovery.org. Create a profile on The Phoenix Mobile App, and join the SMART Recovery Space [this link will ONLY work from a mobile device]. Use THIS FORM to request your SMART meeting to be added to the app schedule. Allow 5-7 business days for your meeting to appear.
Please note, to ensure consistent reliability, it will be your responsibility to inform both SMART Recovery and The Phoenix of any meeting changes or cancellations so updates can be made promptly. First, notify SMART as you normally would, and then follow up with The Phoenix team at appsupport@thephoenix.org to make sure the information is accurate in both places.
