1. Autoimmune diseases. Given that you’re not young any longer, eating gluten increases your risk of getting autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis and Type 1 diabetes. 2. Inflammation. Now that you’re aging, inflammation in your body is never a good news. Gluten causes inflammation in the guts, which in turn causes premature cell decay of the intestines resulting to toxic compounds and other bacterial proteins to get into the blood stream. 3. Nutrient deficiency. People who are allergic to gluten cannot digest food or absorb nutrients properly leading to nutrient deficiency. This is because the body’s immune reaction to gluten causes the intestinal wall to degenerate making one’s digestion inefficient.
4. Brain disorder. Gluten consumption is not really brain-friendly because it causes or exacerbates several neurological illnesses like neuropathy, autism, epilepsy, depression, anxiety,Alzheimer’s disease, and mood swings.
5. Serious health problems. Gluten-sensitive people are prone to develop serious health problems by consuming gluten. Since you’re not getting any younger, your stomach might be having adverse reaction to gluten as well. This can be pretty serious as it causes stomach pains, joints and muscle pains, diarrhea, stool inconsistency, and fatigue. |
