Hi Friend,
Today, I would like to share this free resource for your violin practice I recorded a couple of days ago for one of my violin bootcamp members.
This video is a play along, piano accompaniment of the first Romanian folk dance from Bela Bartok's six Romanian Folk Dances. Recorded at 70 bpm for practice. I would like to talk more about the background behind this project I have been sharing over the past week on IG and FB.
In the Violin Bootcamp App I have a module called "Violin Lab" where members of the program can get access to creative recording projects to do either individually or as an ensemble with other members with my help. We use a virtual DAW to upload the projects remotely and have a final ensemble or solo piece.
This is one of the personal projects chosen by one of my members. Her goal during the bootcamp was to play the first of the Romanian Dances by Bartok. Something that she had been wanting to do for years. By the 4th week of the program she had learned the piece and now she has perfected it and recorded it! I'm helping by recording the piano part to her pre-recorded violin part.
I've decided to share this piano accompaniment as a free resource for anyone looking to have some fun with this piece and to show you a little bit more clearly some of the things the Violin Bootcamp Members get to accomplish with this program.
If you want to learn more about how to become a monthly member (only $79 / month) or if you wish to enrol on the next 6 week violin bootcamp challenge, feel free to send me an e-mail or take a look at the web app content here
I'm off now to edit this together with my member's violin part to have an awesome final project that she can feel proud of and portray her hard work.
