Subject: Day 4 - Interval Practice: Sixths

Friend Day 4 is here!

Interval Practice for today: Sixths

Today you will get to practice the interval of sixths, in the key of G major in the following way:

Use Audio Intonation Guide first: (No backing track)

1. Playing the notes separately to give you a chance to check intonation, then immediately as double stops.

2. Broken sixths

3. Only as double stops.

You will find all variations by scrolling down within the app. Use the first audio file as a guide for intonation.

Once you are comfortable, or if you are more advanced use the backing track to play instead of the Audio Guide.

Note: You can select only the most difficult fragments of the exercises below to target your practice. There is a timer above the music you can use if want to focus on that specific section for the full 7 minutes instead of running the whole exercise. Allocate more time to the sections that are more difficult for you.

I have purposely created this lesson not automated so you can scroll and stop at your own convenience to focus on the sections that are of more importance to you.

You can simply hit play on the backing track and play the few bars you need to work on.

On next page, you will find a backing track with automatic scrolling for more advanced players that wish to play the full exercise without stopping.

Enjoy!

Marlene
