| As part of my community, I know you are an animal lover. Are you a nature lover too? I love my morning walks connecting with nature. It is a great way to get grounded, renewed and refreshed to start my day. Here is a video from one of my recent walks of waves. The wind sure did come through on this. We are here today to talk about Grounding.
Why in the world do cats and dogs need grounding?
Is your dog:
• Very hyper? • Always pacing?
• Running around and cannot easily settle?
• Very fearful?
• Frighten easily?
• Hear a noise and they race to see what it is with a nervous energy and unsure what to do and possibly afraid?
• Frantic, pacing, fretting?
Does your dog:
• Not sit still for you to brush him/her?
• Not sit still for you to pet him/her?
• When walking on the lease, does your dog pull ahead out front?
If you answered yes to any of these, it is a sign your dog will most likely benefit from grounding.
If you answered yes to three or more of these, it indicates that your dog will most likely highly benefit from grounding.
Now does your cat:
• Startle easily?
• Pace?
• Get what I call the “zooms”? (i.e. one minute be relaxing and the next minute zooming around on hyper speed causing all kinds of havoc before settling down again)
If you answered yes to any of these, it indicates that your cat will most likely highly benefit from grounding.

Tip : Ground your cat and dog on a regular basis.
A good way to ground your cat and dog is to place your hand on top of their paw as it is connected to the floor/ground. This will help reinforce the feeling of the floor/ground beneath them. And be sure to do it with all 4 paws. |
