Recently Miranda and I took a nature walk, picked a lot of fresh blackberries and we are looking forward to making blackberry cobbler soon. Yum!

When I first came to Vicki, my dog, Baxter was stressed out, chewing up the living room rug, going to the bathroom in the house and jumping up on people as they entered the house. I was stressed with all of this going on. After working with Vicki, there has been a dramatic shift in Baxter. People are noticing the changes and he even looks different. Baxter is much calmer and happier. It’s like the weight of the world has been taken off of his shoulders. Tip: Give your cat(s) and dog(s) roles.
This is very important. Your cat(s) and dog(s) each have a role to play in the household. It is important for you to recognize it and praise them for it.
Some are the protectors of the family, some are the overseers of the family and helping heal issues, some are the jokesters to add play and fun to your household, and the list goes on. Being with your animals, you may already have a good sense of what your cat and dog's role is.
In Baxter's case above, Baxter's role was to protect the new baby girl in the household. This helped Baxter still feel an important and involved member of the household and he loved his new baby pack member.
Your cats and dogs may act out (and generally do) if their role is not recognized and valued.
Our cats and dogs want to please us and they take their roles very seriously. Discover your cats and dogs' role and praise them and feel the sighs of relaxation flow within you.
