| | Tip: I invite you to really start being aware of your animal's behaviors, not blow them off or discount them, really pay attention to be able to help them be comfortable (i.e. feel safe and be happy) in his/her home, surroundings and environments you take them to.
How to tell if your animal is highly sensitive:
hyper/anxious pretty much all of the time,
will have a hard time settling will hide when company comes over may be more aloof wanting alone time may prefer one room in your house spooks easily doesn't want a lot of pets from you or anyone may even bite/nip if petted too long (for him/her)
dogs - jumping, pacing, barking a lot cats - zooming around frantically all of a sudden horses - spooking and startling easily
How to use this:
Now that you have awareness of what to look for with your animal's behavior and reactions, start making adjustments to help support your animal in feeling more comfortable.
If you hear yourself saying "oh, that is just how he is", pay attention and have explore deeper by asking, "Is there something I can do to help my animal feel safer, be happier, be healthier?".
This is really just the tip of the iceberg. There is much more to learn that can really have you understanding your cat, your dog, your horse and your animals understanding you. And I would love to help your animal be more comfortable and you be happier knowing your cat, your dog, your horse is safe, happy and healthy.
